Hi, I’m Steve, and I’m here to help to define and achieve your fitness goals. I’d probably help you move too. Maybe not though, I don’t love you like that. Let’s stick to reaching your fitness goals. I’m super good at that, in fact, it’s my passion.
A few things you should know about me:
I’ve been training for about 16 years. It’s been such a pleasure to work with all types of people and I can’t wait to get my hands on you – not literally, of course. I first got into training when I was a high school senior helping some underclassmen with their lifting. I loved the seeing the confident grin that empowerment and success brings. I became addicted to teaching and helping others.
I have a degree in Exercise & Sports Science. So, I kinda know what I’m doing. I’m not much of a yeller. Yelling only gets you so far; intimidation as motivation is lazy, and ineffective in the long run. I’m into supporting you, motivating you, educating you and empowering you to reach and exceed your goals. There may be a little "firm motivation" judiciously applied from time to time...
I’ve spent a considerable amount of time working with many populations including student athletes, busy professionals, educators, seniors, over/under weight, post-rehab, chronically ill, mentally/physically/sensory disabled or impaired, as well as pre/post-natal. Personal training is most importantly, personal; not one-size-fits-all. It's about what makes you tick. I’d like to think that there is nothing we can’t accomplish together.
When I’m not at work I have a few ways to spend my time. I love to cook, and love to find great recipes and work out healthy adaptations for me and my SLF. I love to explore this beautiful state and I’m really into hoarding recreational equipment; think snowboards and bikes. I’m also currently owned by two bulldogs, making me a grade A dog lover/servant.
Now let’s talk about you. Reach out, get in touch and let’s talk about your goals and how we can work together.
